1 1/3 cup sliced almonds

14 oz dates, pitted

1 small carrot

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup walnuts

1/4 cup quick oats

1/4 tsp cinnamon

begin by putting the almonds in a food processor and blending until they are lightly crushed.

add dates (I cut them a little smaller first, so they mix better in the next step), plus all the other ingredients into the processor and blend gain until everything is mixed together.   depending on the texture, add some water ( a tablespoon or two) if mixture is too dry.  add more quick oats if mixture seems too mushy.   the ideal consistency is moist but firm enough to form into individual balls.   place balls in the freezer for an hour to set.  store in the fridge.
